Literature Text

A cold melody
Singing through broken trees
You are the wind that sleeps
Upon the snow
Gentle night
Gentle night

A dark harmony
Crashing o'er violent waves
You are the froth that sways
On empty shores
Lonely sigh
Lonely sigh

A ray of sunlight
Swimming through em'rald seas
You are the lightest breeze
In friendly shade
Promise light
Promise light.

A sweet sparrow's wing
Floating in heaven's depth
You are the hunter's breath
And anxious eyes
Wild skies
Wild skies

A deep forest tree
Sinking through earth and core
You are the root that bore
Through the stone
Ancient oaths
Ancient oaths

A true memory
Living in darkened lies
You are the hope that cries
"Stay with me!"
Single tear
Single tear
Not entirely sure this should even be a deviation. I was just kinda singing to myself one night and then these words came out and it sorta became a lullaby thing. Idk. More I just felt bad for not posting anything in a long time and this was okayish so I just went for it.

Anyway, as always, please tell me your thoughts about it, as I might be able to wrestle this poem into something decent yet. :)
